City
situated between two rivers, Tanaro and Bormida, Alessandria keeps
treasures like the “Military Citadel” and unknown beauties that
you can discover in its historic centre, like its cuisine.
In the city’s historic centre, between Piazza Marconi and Corso
Roma, in Via Legnano n. 2, thirteen years ago Restaurant Arcimboldo
was set up.
Nowadays, like once, the owner Angela Ivaldi has maintained the
philosophy of the beginnings: liven up with fantasy the local
cuisine and point-out its typical products like meat, mushrooms,
truffles and cheeses.
The restaurant, simple and elegant, has accommodation for thirty
persons who can enjoy the cuisine, but also the discreet style
and the outstanding customers’ care.
The cuisine is paired by an excellent wine list, of main Piedmont’s
wine producers, including 170 labels and a spirits list.
The restaurant is open Monday through Friday for lunch
and dinner; on Saturday it is open only for dinner. On Sunday
it is open by reservation only.
The restaurant obtained the A.I.C. mark for people who have problems
of celiac disease.
